The Regina Police Service is investigating a shooting that occurred early Thursday near the General Hospital.
In a media release, police say officers were sent to the 2200 block of Osler Street at around 12:40 a.m., after receiving what were termed “multiple reports of what was believed to be a single gunshot.” Callers also suggested someone had been injured.
Shortly after the police received those calls, a man arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound and confirmed the shooting had occurred on Osler Street. His injuries are described as non-life-threatening.
The investigation is continuing.
