Antonio Brown says he’s done with the NFL, though I don’t know if you can be done with someone who has clearly shown they’re already done with you.
He’ll likely fight the Patriots to get his bonus money as they released him before it was due, after more accusations of sexual misconduct were brought forward.
Brown calls out the double standard of the accusations against him, while Ben Roethlisberger was given a four-game suspension for a sex assault accusation and current Patriots owner Robert Kraft has no penalty for his name linked to a human trafficking investigation.
The problem for Brown is, he hasn’t been suspended yet from the league, it’s just a matter of teams not wanting to deal with the personality or the off-field problems.
The Steelers were done with him, he lasted a few months with the Raiders and just 11 days with the Patriots.
Brown’s problem is he is blaming everyone but the person who is truly costing him money and credibility … himself.
As soon as he gets that taken care of, maybe he’ll have a chance at a return.
