Body of missing Midale man found on Alberta mountainside

A Midale man who was reported missing Sept. 5 in Alberta has been found dead.

Jeffrey Newton, 48, last was seen on Sept. 3. He was reported missing to police on Sept. 5, the same day his car was discovered by the RCMP.

On Tuesday, the Rocky Mountain House RCMP reported that hikers found Newton’s body Saturday on Abraham Mountain, located about two hours north of Banff.
