A man riding a motorcycle was sent to hospital on Thursday morning after colliding with a transit bus.
According to Regina police, the crash happened at about 8:25 a.m., when a southbound bus was making a left turn from Albert Street onto 12th Avenue.
Demie Adeniyi witnessed the crash from the sidewalk and said the man’s injuries were serious.
“His leg was broken. He kept screaming and then there was blood and then all of his stuff just flew apart, his personal belongings,” Adeniyi said.
“At first I was in shock because I couldn’t believe that happened. I had to get myself together and call 911.”
Khursheed Alam was a passenger on the bus.
“I heard a big bang noise. I knew for sure somebody got hit by this bus,” Alam said. “His left leg was almost, I would say, broken. It was crushed … It wasn’t a good one.”
The police said the investigation is continuing.
