Saskatoon is my adopted home. I came here when I was 18 to attend the U of S and never really left.

What’s a little-known fact about you?

This will be my sixth time running for the Green Party.

Why should voters hire you?

The Green Party never whips votes. As an elected official I will work for my constituents and their interest, not the interest of the party.

What is your greatest strength? What is your greatest weakness?

Greatest weakness is that I will procrastinate until the last minute, but my greatest strength is my ability to work well under pressure and under time constraints.

Where do you stand on:

Gun laws? Owners should be responsible with their firearms, and laws should not punish people who are.

The need for more pipelines? We don’t need more; the investment return will not be there. Let’s look at other ways to produce energy that produce greater financial return and less greenhouse gasses.

Western alienation? The west has always been alienated. Let’s put representatives in Parliament that will fight for western interests.

China? What should our approach be with some of our markets blocked? Diversify and always be exploring other markets for export. And value add on our products.

Are we facing a climate change crisis? Is carbon tax the answer? Yes we are, and reducing pollution is the answer.

It’s a day off and you can do anything you want. What would it be?

Drink coffee and read until noon. Lunch at a local restaurant. Disc golf and beer. Walk on the river with my girlfriend.

Elon Musk.

What is your hidden talent?

I can throw a wicked forehand in disc golf.

What do you wish you could do but can’t?

Fly.

Cleopatra, Tesla and the first person to make fire.

What’s the one album you’d take with you on a desert island? What embarrassing song do you admit to on your playlist?

Not much of a Pink Floyd fan, but the Dark Side of the Moon has so many layers it would probably keep me occupied that whole time. I may have a few Taylor Swift songs tucked away somewhere in there.
