8:30 – Today marks one year since cannabis became legal for recreational use across Canada, and cannabis edibles and vape products are next in line to become publicly available. While we didn’t see the sky fall as some predicted, and drug-impaired driving has not been a major issue, there are still concerns that legalization did not impact the black market, and it’s still easy for young people to get their hands on weed. We also haven’t seen the incredible economic benefits many were expecting, and some experts are still sounding the alarm over the connections between cannabis and mental health issues including schizophrenia. So we want to know what you think – did the government do the right thing by legalizing cannabis, or was it a mistake? Give us a call at 1-877-332-8255 and have your say!
