The Regina Police Service is trying to find people who may have lost property in a series of break-ins in the city in the fall.
On Oct. 2, officers executed search warrants at apartments on Spence Street and MacPherson Avenue. Police found stolen property that they say was “conservatively estimated to be worth more than $17,000.”
In a media release Thursday, the police said the stolen property was connected to at least eight break-and-enters that occurred between Aug. 7 and Sept. 13 at homes, garages and compounds in Regina.
Officers recovered jewelry, bicycles, power tools, golf bags, large spools of wire, and tires in the apartments. Now, investigators are trying to find the owners of those items.
Two Regina men were charged in connection with the break-ins.
