The rain stayed away last week, allowing combines to keep rolling across the province.
The weekly crop report from the province has harvest at 83 per cent complete, up from 69 per cent the week before, but behind the five-year average.
Farmers in the northeastern and west-central regions are beginning to wrap up for the year with more than 90 per cent of the crop harvested.
The northwest and southwest regions are at 88 and 89 per cent respectively, followed by the southeast region at 78 per cent and the east-central region at 66 per cent.
Some fields remain saturated with excess water, particularly in southern and east-central regions.
The province says quality has been an issue, with significant downgrading at the elevator due to crops sprouting. The majority of the crop coming off is tough or damp and needs to be dried.
