A 23-year-old Moose Jaw man is facing 25 charges after a vehicle that allegedly had been stolen rolled north of the Albert Street overpass early Tuesday.
Regina police said in a media release that the incident happened at about 1:50 a.m. A vehicle heading south on the highway at high speed went into the ditch on the west side of the road and rolled several times.
The two occupants of the vehicle were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the police investigation, one of the men was charged with 12 counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to an order, and two counts each of possession of a scheduled substance (meth and cocaine), unauthorized possession of a prohibited device or ammunition in a motor vehicle, and possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace.
He also was charged with one count each of dangerous driving causing bodily harm, driving while prohibited, breach of recognizance, possession of a stolen auto, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of a prohibited weapon knowing it is unauthorized, and possession of stolen property under $5,000.
