The Regina Fire Department is telling the public to stay off frozen bodies of water.
The warning comes after somebody was rescued Wednesday night from the pond behind Doug Wickenheiser Arena in the Lakewood area.
Deputy Chief David Kinvig said the person was walking in the area when she fell through the ice at about 7 p.m.
