The Regina Police Service is investigating a man’s death after his body was found near the city’s downtown area on Thursday night.
In an emailed news release, the police service said officers were called to the 1800 block of St. John Street at about 11:20 p.m., where they found the man’s body.
They secured the area, and called the coroner and members from the Forensic Identification and Major Crimes.
Police say they have confirmed the man’s identity but have not released his name.
They are asking anyone with information about the circumstances of his death call them, or Crime Stoppers.
