A 19-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 2 north of Wakaw on Monday morning.
The RCMP said the woman was driving south at the time of the collision. A 58-year-old man who was driving a northbound SUV was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A female youth passenger who also was in the northbound vehicle was not injured.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the collision. The RCMP said road conditions were wet, but visibility was clear at the time.
The cause has yet to be determined, and the investigation is ongoing.
