The death of a woman found 8 kilometres north of La Ronge on December 23 is being investigated as a murder.
RCMP say the body of 28-year-old Sheena Marie Billette of La Ronge was found by a motorist along Highway 102.
An autopsy was completed Friday in Regina. Based on their findings and information obtained during the investigation, her death has been deemed a homicide.
Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit and La Ronge RCMP continue to investigate.
