A man suffered serious injuries at the CN railyard near First Avenue North and McIntosh Street in Regina Monday afternoon according to Regina Fire.
Fire received a call around 12:59 p.m. and responded to the incident.
A spokesperson with Regina Fire said a man was offloading grain from a semi trailer into a hopper car when his leg got caught in the equipment.
The incident was confirmed by a CN spokesperson who said the man was an employee of a company that uses their facilities to load products onto railcars.
It took a fairly large operation but the man was freed from the equipment after 45 minutes.
He has been taken to hospital with what is being described as serious injuries.
