One man is dead and another is hurt after a crash outside Weyburn Sunday morning.
In a media release, Mounties said a semi and a pickup truck collided head-on about two kilometres southeast of Weyburn on Highway 39 around 6 a.m.
The driver and only person inside the pickup was a 19-year-old man. He died at the scene.
The 34-year-old semi driver was taken to hospital in Regina with “undetermined injuries,” police said.
Weyburn RCMP and an RCMP traffic reconstructionist are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
Mounties have reopened Highway 39.
