A 44-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries Sunday when he was pepper-sprayed and stabbed outside a Regina business.
According to the Regina Police Service, officers were sent to a home in the 2100 block of Osler Street at around 7:30 p.m., after getting a report of a weapons offence.
They found the victim, who told them he was walking through the parking lot of a business in the 2100 block of Broad Street when two men left the store. The victim was pepper-sprayed by one of the men and stabbed by the other.
After talking to the police, the man was transported to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The police investigation led to the arrest of a 25-year-old man, who was charged with aggravated assault and failing to comply with a probation order. He appeared in court Monday.
