The Regina Fire Department credits working smoke alarms with getting everybody out of a house fire near Queen Elizabeth Jubilee Park.
Firefighters got the call at 1:22 a.m. Tuesday for a fire on MacKay Street near 18th Avenue East.
The house was already evacuated and nobody was hurt.
Crews had the blaze under control in 15 minutes.
The cause is still under investigation.
