RCMP arrests escaped inmate in northern Sask.

Twenty days after John Riley Sanderson escaped custody at the La Ronge courthouse, he is back in RCMP lockup.

Mounties responding to an impaired driver call on Wednesday found the 32-year-old inside a vehicle in the ditch along Highway 915 south of Stanley Mission.

The RCMP arrested Sanderson, who faces impaired driving charges in addition to his outstanding warrants.

Sanderson is scheduled to appear at La Ronge Provincial Court on Thursday
