Regina police have identified the victim in the city’s third murder of the year, and the most recent death from over the weekend.
On Saturday night at about 7:37 p.m., police found 24-year-old Isiah Trent Allary in front of a home on Rae Street near Sixth Avenue.
Allary was pronounced dead on scene.
Police were called there after getting reports of a gunshot.
They have charged 25-year-old Devon Wayne Cyr with first-degree murder, two gun offences and failing to comply with a prohibition order.
Cyr made his first appearance in a Regina courtroom Monday morning. His next appearance is set for Thursday.
