An American man is facing child pornography charges after he tried crossing the Saskatchewan-North Dakota border with it on Friday.
According to the RCMP, it all started when Canada Border Services Agency officers stopped the man at the Oungre crossing and found what was believed to be child pornography pictures on his electronics.
The man was then arrested and turned over to the Weyburn RCMP.
After confirming the photos in question were child pornography, the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit seized 10 electronic devices for further analysis.
Michael Garland Crawford, 47, of Williston, N.D., is charged with possessing and importing child pornography. Crawford is scheduled to appear in Weyburn Provincial Court on Tuesday.
