Saturday’s protest was held in solidarity with the Wet’suwet’en Nation in British Colombia. The community is attempting to block construction of the Coastal GasLink pipeline.
Rallies have been held across Canada since the RCMP moved in, enforcing a B.C. Supreme Court injunction that orders members of the First Nation to stop blocking access to the pipeline worksite.
