A Regina doctor is charged with sexual assault after an incident earlier this month.
In a media release, police said the incident happened on Feb. 2 at a medical clinic that offers traditional Chinese medicine in the 800 block of Victoria Avenue.
According to the report, the 21-year-old woman had been to the clinic before, but on this occasion, Dr. Kui Zhong Lu, 60, had allegedly touched her in a sexual way without her consent.
After further investigation by the Regina Police Service’s vulnerable persons unit, Lu was arrested and charged on Sunday.
Lu will appear in court March 18.
