A 26-year-old Regina woman has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the city’s first murder of 2020.
Kelly Renee Stonechild is charged with the Jan. 5 killing of Keesha Cree Bitternose, who was found dead in a home in the 1500 block of Cameron Street.
The Regina Police Service investigation led to Stonechild’s arrest Tuesday. She appeared in court Wednesday morning.
Police said the investigation is continuing and more charges are expected.
