The Regina Police Service wants the public’s help tracking down a red vehicle after it was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run in a parking lot Wednesday afternoon.
In a media release, police said the vehicle was driving fast and apparently hit a 44-year-old woman walking in the parking lot in the 2900 block of Gordon Road.
The parking lot services several south-end businesses, like the Southland Mall, CIBC, BMO Bank of Montreal and Sobeys Liquor.
Police were called to the scene at 4:45 p.m.
They said when the vehicle struck the woman, it was going westbound in the parking lot. It kept going and didn’t stop, police said.
The media release said the driver “was described as a female in her 40s with grey hair. The victim was transported to the hospital where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.”
Anyone with information about the incident should call the Regina police or Crime Stoppers.
