The Regina Police Service is looking for suspects in a pair of robberies with weapons that occurred Wednesday on Retallack Street.
The first incident occurred in the afternoon in the 1400 block of Retallack, where a 52-year-old man walked into a house and was confronted by three men.
Police say one of the men had an axe and another had a machete. The victim suffered injuries to his head and was robbed of some personal items.
After the suspects left the house, the victim went to a different location to call police. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The first suspect was described as being 5-foot-7 with a thin build. He had tattoos on his face and was wearing a blue hoodie.
The second suspect was 5-foot-5 with a heavy build. He’s bald and was wearing a grey shirt.
The third suspect was tall with a thin build. He was wearing a blue hoodie with white markings on the sleeves.
The second robbery happened at about 10 p.m., in the 1200 block of Retallack.
A 27-year-old man was walking down the street when he was surrounded by a group of men who all were dressed in black.
Police say the men hit the victim with a metal rod and sprayed him with a substance that is believed to have been pepper spray or bear spray.
The suspects took items from the man and ran off. He suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital by paramedics.
There weren’t any descriptions of the suspects available.
