All Western Development Museum (WDM) locations in Moose Jaw, North Battleford, Saskatoon and Yorkton will be closed to the public starting Tues. March 17 due to the COVID-19 virus.
WDM CEO, Joan Kanigan, said in a release issued Monday afternoon, “We are committed to the health and wellbeing of people in all our communities. As the situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve rapidly, we have made the difficult decision to close all Western Development Museum locations to the public until further notice. We value the support so many in our communities have shown the WDM over the years and we look forward to welcoming you back into our museums when it is safe to do so.”
The release said management will be in contact with organizers of upcoming events that have been booked and will accommodate refunds on deposits made.
