10:00 – There has been a lot of pushback against China during the COVID-19 pandemic, but were they slow to act when the virus could still have been contained inside their borders? Toronto Sun Columnist Lorrie Goldstein thinks so, saying “Whatever Italy did wrong, COVID-19 could have been contained if the Chinese gov’t had not hidden early cases and ignored and persecuted the first doctor, now dead from COVID-19, who tried to warn his colleagues about what was happening. Let’s put the blame where it belongs.” Goldstein joins John to discuss the details. Do you think China was negligent in the face of a potential global disaster, or did they try their best during a rapidly-changing situation? Call 1-877-332-8255 and join the conversation.
