Farmer with large online following, discusses life during pandemic

A farmer with a large online following joined Gormley to share his thoughts on life during the COVID-19 pandemic, but with a positive spin.

Quick Dick McDick, who has more than 30-thousand subscribers on YouTube, was on the show Tuesday afternoon.

He believes humour is a good way to get through tough times, so he didn’t hesitate to crack a few jokes.

“We’ve gotta ramp up hand washing, so I’ve doubled how much I wash my hands… I’m up to two times in a day now,” he said.

His take on social distancing is unique.

“If people start figuring out that if you avoid people, you have to deal with a lot less whiners in your life, people are going to start living like this all the time.”
