The Regina Police Service is looking for two men who tried to steal an ATM from a business early Wednesday.
According to a media release from the police, officers were sent to a business in the 400 block of Albert Street at about 5:10 a.m., for a report of a break and enter.
The investigation determined that two men broke in through the front doors of the business, hooked up the ATM to straps attached to a truck outside and tried to remove the machine. Their attempt was unsuccessful.
The truck, a brown 2006 Ford F-250 which subsequently was determined to be stolen, was later found by police abandoned in the area of Thompson Avenue and Fleet Street.
One suspect is described as having a dark complexion and wearing a dark grey hoodie, black shoes and gloves. Police say the second man was wearing white shoes and gloves.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
