A break-in, assault and shooting at a Moose Jaw home resulted in charges for one man and serious injuries for another.
Police responded to a residence on 9th Avenue NE around 3 a.m. Friday.
Officers found a man there who was shot. He was transported to Wigmore Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
During their investigation police discovered several people armed with weapons broke into the residence. An assault took place and the man was shot, a media release said.
Police located and arrested one suspect later Friday and say the investigation is on-going.
The suspect, a man is charged with attempted murder, break and enter, assault with a weapon and firearms-related offences.
