Premier Scott Moe released an Easter message on Twitter Friday morning.
“I know this is something that we look forward to all year, but this year I’m asking you to celebrate a little bit differently,” Moe said in the video. “Because of the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, it’s important that we limit our gatherings to our households only.”
Moe is reminding people not to have friends or family members over this weekend who do not live in your home.
“I know this is difficult but I also know that you understand how important this it,” Moe said. “I’d like to wish everyone across Saskatchewan a very happy Easter-come together this weekend, by staying apart.”
Easter is an important occasion for so many of us in Saskatchewan, but this year I’m asking you to celebrate a little differently.
I’d like to wish everyone across our province a Happy #Easter. Come together this weekend, by staying apart.#Easter2020 #COVID19SK pic.twitter.com/IUqOJ22mRI
