As we head into the Victoria Day long weekend, Parks Canada is reminding everyone that all national parks, national historic sites, heritage canals and national marine conservation areas are closed to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
The closure includes Saskatchewan’s Prince Albert National Park.
In a release Monday afternoon, Parks Canada says all services and vehicle access is closed.
The use of motorized watercraft for recreational fishing and boating is also prohibited.
Highway 264 to Waskesiu remains open for through traffic only. There is no vehicle access outside of the Waskesiu Townsite, but some local businesses are open.
