Joe Garcea is a University of Saskatchewan Political Studies Professor. He joins Gormley to talk about amalgamation and why it’s such a controversial topic in Saskatchewan.

10:00 – Saskatchewan’s rural and remote health minister, Warren Kaeding, joins Gormley to go over Saskatchewan’s new suicide prevention plan, which was announced Friday, and titled “Pillars For Life.” Kaeding says mental health is a priority for the provincial government, and they recognize that more needs to be done to reduce our suicide rates.

While believe games are bad for mental health, U of S computer science professor Dr. Regan Mandryk says games can actually be good for mental health in a number of surprising ways. Mandryk joins Gormley to tell us more about the mental health benefits of video games.
