Investigators will be returning to Retallack Street near Fourth Avenue to figure out what sparked a raging house fire on Thursday morning.
Deputy Chief Neil Sundeen said the fire department received multiple 911 calls at about 1:30 a.m., and when firefighters arrived on scene, the house was engulfed in flames.
He described flames coming out from all directions of the building.
After about 45 minutes, crews were able to get the blaze under control, he said.
There weren’t any injuries. Sundeen said the house wasn’t vacant, but it was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
