Canada Day festivities at Wascana Park cancelled

Regina’s Canada Day celebration at Wascana Park has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 health crisis.

Organizers of the annual event made the announcement on Facebook.

The event at Wascana Park joins another Canada Day celebration that was cancelled earlier this week.

On Tuesday, it was announced the Lieutenant Governor’s Canada Day Celebration at Government House had been cancelled due to the threat of the virus.
