The Saskatchewan Health Authority says an outbreak of COVID-19 in the long-term care facility at the La Loche Health Centre is now over.
The outbreak was declared on April 17 and the SHA says 28 days have now passed without a new positive case.
“(Medical Health Officer Dr. Rim Zayed) cautions that community precautions remain in place and that exhaustive work continues as the Saskatchewan Health Authority and local community leaders work together to curtail the spread of COVID-19 in the area,” says a news release from the SHA.
“This includes extensive door to door testing, mobile testing, and aggressive contact tracing.”
