The Regina Police Service is investigating a pair of gun calls that officers believe are connected.
In a media release Thursday, police said officers responded Wednesday at about 6 a.m., to the 1200 block of Argyle Street for a report of an armed robbery.
Officers were told a man was sitting in the driver’s seat of his vehicle when he was approached by two men — one of whom was said to be carrying a gun. The men demanded property, removed the victim from his vehicle and stole it.
The vehicle subsequently was found in the 1300 block of Montague Street.
Then, at about 7:20 a.m., officers were sent to a weapons call in the 1400 block of Montague Street.
Officers were told the incident happened at about 4:40 a.m. A vehicle had been shot at by three suspects, including two whose descriptions matched those of the individuals from the incident on Argyle Street.
The first suspect was wearing a white hoodie, dark-coloured shoes and a straight peaked hat. He was carrying a backpack and riding a white bike.
The second suspect was wearing a grey hoodie, blue or dark jeans and dark-coloured shoes.
The third man, who was said to have been carrying a gun, was wearing dark jeans and a grey hoodie.
