Regina police caught up to a man suspected of stealing a delivery van on Saturday.
They located the vehicle in the ditch on Highway 33, with the man sleeping inside.
The van belonged to a business on Chuka Boulevard, police said.
Police believe that same man had broken into a home in the city’s east end, while wielding a knife.
He faces charges including: breaking and entering, theft of a motor vehicle, weapons dangerous to the public and dangerous driving.
