The City of Saskatoon is warning residents about a COVID-19 scam that is circulating.
It is a text message and phone scam and looks like a legitimate COVID-19 survey. It’s not.
In a release, the city says all communication related to COVID-19 can be found on it’s webpage.
The city is also reminding people not to click on suspicious text messages or web links, and to never give out your personal information or credit card number over your digital device or phone.
It also says these types of online scams should be reported to Saskatoon police or the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
