The Regina Police Service is investigating after a recent rash of smashed vehicle windows in the city.
According to police, there were 44 reports of mischief involving broken vehicle windows between May 26 and Tuesday. Of those reports, 29 were received from Friday through Monday.
Many of the incidents have occurred in the Gardiner Park, University Park, South Albert and Glencairn areas of the city.
Police said in a media release there isn’t any evidence that all of the cases are connected, “but the similarity of these events and their proximity to each other suggest that at least some may be connected.”
Police don’t have any suspects or descriptions of those who may be responsible. Anyone with information is asked to call the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
