Three men are facing charges in the wake of an armed robbery Thursday evening in the 1100 block of Robinson Street.
According to the Regina Police Service, officers were called to the area at about 5:40 p.m.
They were told an 18-year-old man had been riding his bike when someone threw a cinder block at one of his tires. A group of people — one of whom was carrying a gun — then dragged the cyclist into a house, used bear spray on him and robbed him.
The victim got away and police were called.
Upon arrival, officers found three men and a woman outside the house with injuries consistent with bear spray. A police search of the home found a gun and ammunition.
The three men were arrested, while the woman was released.
The men face a variety of charges, including robbery with a firearm, pointing a firearm, possession of a firearm knowing it was obtained in the commission of an offence, and using a firearm in the commission of an indictable offence.
They made their first court appearances Friday.
