A quick stop into the Shell station on 44th Street in Lloydminster on May 17 was a life-changing moment for Terry Simon.
The Neilburg man bought ZING tickets. Rather than scratching the whole card, he cleared off the barcode to check if he’s a winner, according to SaskLotteries.
One ended up being worth $3-millon.
“It blew me away,” Simon said. “I thought it was $3,000, which was nice, but then they told me it was $3 million, and I just said ‘wow’.”
He said he immediately called his son to share the good news.
