The Regina Police Service is asking for the public’s help in locating a racing wheelchair that was stolen Thursday evening.
According to police, officers responded just after 7:20 p.m., to an apartment building in the 1800 block of Hamilton Street, where someone had stolen a custom-made racing wheelchair from the building’s parkade.
The owner told police the theft likely happened sometime between Wednesday night and 5 p.m., on Thursday.
The wheelchair is silver with red lettering. The rear wheels are black carbon fibre, with “CORIMA” in white lettering.
Police are looking for possible surveillance video from the area and also are checking the Internet for posts listing the wheelchair for sale.
