Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for areas in the north central part of the province, including Prince Albert, and watches for areas in the southeast part of Saskatchewan, including the City of Regina.
The watches means conditions are favourable for the severe storms to develop.
Those could bring strong winds, large hail and heavy rain.
A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Prince Albert, Shellbrook, Spiritwood and Duck Lake. A severe thunderstorm warning has also been issued for Fort Qu’Appelle, Indian Head, Lumsden, Pilot Butte, Radville, Milestone, Estevan and Weyburn.
Environment Canada has also issued a severe thunderstorm warning for La Ronge, Prince Albert National Park and Narrow Hills Provincial Park, as well as Moosomin, Grenfell, Kipling, Wawota and Yorkton, Melville and Esterhazy.
Warnings are issued when storms are imminent.
