Severe Thunderstorm warning, watches issued for southeast Saskatchewan

Parts of southeastern Saskatchewan could see some severe storms Tuesday.

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Fort Qu’Appelle, Pilot Butte and Lumsden.

Nickle to ping pong sized hail could be seen as Environment Canada tracks a severe thunderstorm. Large amounts of rain could also be seen.

Severe Thunderstorm watches have been issued for the city of Regina, Assiniboia, Carlyle, Humboldt, Moose Jaw and Moosomin.

Environment Canada says conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
