A staple of summer in downtown Regina is returning.
The Regina Farmer’s Market is returning to City Square Plaza on Saturday morning.
Holly Laird, the executive director of the market, broke down some of the new rules brought on by the pandemic.
“It will definitely be a little bit different than (what) you’re used to. We’re going to be limiting the amount of customers that can come in at a given time. There will be more space between vendor booths, and we’ll be practicing that very important social distancing throughout our market,” she explained to The Greg Morgan Morning Show on 980 CJME.
Plus, they’re still keeping up with a way to cut down further on social interaction.
“We know that not everybody is ready to rush back to a face-to-face market…so the online ordering is going to continue the same as it has for the last few months,” she said.
She closed with a couple of tips on what you should bring to the market.
“Don’t bring reusable bags, don’t bring your egg cartons. Just bring your positive attitude,” she said.
It runs from 9:00 on Saturday morning to 1:00 in the afternoon.
