The RCMP in Punnichy is asking for the public’s help in finding a man who has been wanted on warrants for the past six months.
Joseph Cyr, a 44-year-old from the Gordon First Nation, is facing charges of assault, forcible confinement, uttering threats, resisting arrest, failing to attend court, theft of a truck, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, and breach of a release order.
The warrants for his arrest were issued in January. Cyr is believed to be either on the Gordon First Nation or in Regina.
He’s described as being approximately 5-foot-6 and 160 pounds with short black hair, brown eyes and a darker complexion.
