Regina police say three teenage women are facing charges in two separate overnight incidents.
At about 1:50 a.m. Tuesday police were called to the 1800 block of Regent Street for a report of a weapons offence.
Early information indicated a woman had been stabbed, and multiple suspects had fled in a vehicle. When police arrived they found a woman with a stab wound. EMS transported the victim to hospital.
Police found the occupants of the vehicle a short time later at a home on Hodges Bay. Three female youths were taken into custody without incident.
A 16-year-old female from Regina has been charged with aggravated assault.
Police say further investigation then revealed the three had also shown up at a home in the 1800 block of Regent Street on Monday night and allegedly threatened violence.
A 17-year-old woman from Regina has been charged with assault with a weapon, and a second 17-year-old, also from Regina, has been charged with uttering threats.
The 16-year-old female and the 17-year-old female charged with assault with a weapon made their first appearance in Provincial Youth Court Tuesday afternoon.
The second 17-year-old female, charged with uttering threats, will make her first court appearance in Provincial Youth Court on July 2.
