The RCMP continues to ask for the public’s help in locating a man facing a second-degree murder charge related to a North Battleford murder investigation.
The RCMP Major Crime Unit North is advising a Canada-wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of Michael Jordan White.
White is facing a second-degree murder charge connected to the death of Todd Stone in North Battleford on May 13.
Police reported Tuesday the Saskatchewan-wide warrant has now been extended into a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of White.
The RCMP is advising anyone who may see White that he should not be approached.
White, 32, of the Sweetgrass First Nation, is described as 5-foot-7 and weighing approximately 180 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He may also have shaved his head and beard recently.
Police report he may be in North Battleford, Lloydminster, Saskatoon or the Edmonton areas, but this is not confirmed.
If anyone sees White, they are asked to contact their nearest police service or RCMP detachment immediately.
