Those in the southeast portion of Saskatchewan could get some severe weather as Sunday progresses.
A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for the Carlyle, Oxbow, Estevan, Weyburn, Moosomin and Grenfell areas.
Environment Canada says conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms. The storms could be capable of strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
A stationary front is triggering scattered thunderstorms in the area, and some could reach severe limits.
The storms are expected to redevelop across much of the watch area this afternoon and will persist well into the night.
The severe thunderstorm watch may be expended to the east as the afternoon continues.
